Joanna Gaines is My Spirit Animal

My mom and her friend Barbara. Aren’t they just the cutest?

Last weekend, we headed to Tennessee to an event called Vintage Market Days. I’m sure some of you are obsessed with Fixer Upper and Chip & Joanna like I am. If so, then you would love Vintage Market. So many interesting tents set up with all kinds of finds Joanna would be snatching up I’m sure. It was a little warm outside, but we scored some of the neatest things! It blows my mind how old tools and windows can be used for such decorative pieces. (We are in the midst of redecorating my parent’s whole house, so I will share pictures soon!) One tent had the cutest air stream, that I’m trying to tell my self I don’t need to recreate in my backyard. I could have curled up with a book and a hot cup of tea in there and have been 100% happy.

After cramming as much as we could in our vehicle we headed to our humble abode for the night. We rented an adorable little house that was freshly decorated in farmhouse decor as well. If you are headed to Nashville soon and would like more details just message me. The sweetest lady owned it and it was ten minutes from downtown and 12 south.

If you’re in Nashville, 12 South area may be one of my favorites. It is so quaint and this pumpkin patch was like something out of a movie to me. We ate at bartaco and it was delicious.

One more tip if you’re wanting to decorate like Joanna Gaines is to check out the Faded Farmhouse. They have two locations in Tennessee and also have a website. Awesome prices too!! Win win!

Check out Vintage Market Days calendar to see if they are coming to a city near you! Let me know of any antique places you love to shop. I’d love to check it out.
